ABOUT OJLA

Oona Johnsen, principal and lead designer of OJLA, is a licensed landscape architect in both Florida and California, bringing over two decades of experience in landscape architecture and project management to her work. Her diverse experiences living across various states and countries have enriched her design philosophy and deepened her respect for cultural nuances. Known for her approachable and sincere demeanor, Oona emphasizes the importance of site design that harmonizes with existing architecture and enhances the aesthetic qualities of the environment, while honoring the community’s needs and cultural values.
